Teaming up to Create Readers!

St. Nicholas Stanley Cup Reading Challenge

Reading is important to us here at St. Nicholas. To help promote reading we are starting our new reading challenge. Each student has been placed on a team. They will read and stamp their reading logs (pucks) for their team in their classroom and score goals for their team. Couple of things to keep in mind. For each 15 mins that students read at home, their parents can sign one circle on their puck.  When they return their reading log to school, they can stamp one puck on their team's Stanley Cup reading tracker for each 15 mins.  This is the same process as our last few initiatives.

Just a reminder that each circle represents 15 minutes of reading, NOT each book they read.
